Since I’m abnormally awake at this unearthly hour, I should probably go down for a jog or something. But I’m waiting for time to pass, so I’m fiddling with my soon to be obsolete iPad 2 in bed. (Apple is introducing the new version on Wednesday morning, US time.)
I slept for two and a half hours before opening my eyes at 3.30am on Monday. I call that the anxiety of returning to the morning show after a two-week break. And I just woke up after three hours of sleep. Maybe it’s because I slept too much in the day. Heh.
It was an unusual Tuesday. Minutes after I left the studio, I met two very excited people, who gushed that they had extremely exciting news for me. The first was a major advertising campaign, and they were pitching for my involvement. (Read: endorsement dollars.)
The other was about a possible working trip next month. I haven’t quite got the gist of it, but I think the flying is twice the time I’ll spend in that city. And I’m supposed to appear as an English speaking host, rather than doing my standard Mandarin lines. I’m the Plan B here, because someone declined that gig. That concept was repeated to me three times. How sensitive. Hahaha.
My life is rather interesting, as you might have noticed. Plenty of unexpected scenarios, and the phrase ‘to be confirmed’ appearing half the time. We’ll see.
Right. I think I’m going to leave the house earlier and get my favourite Sausage McMuffin with Egg. Have a great time at work. It’s two days to Friday!
