1. Are the blog entries on www.cruzteng.com really written by Cruz Teng?
Arberthen.
2. Who’s Cruz Teng?
He’s just a nobody, actually.
3. How do I become a 933 DJ/ part-time DJ/ intern/ pantry auntie?
Write a letter to Miss Foong Wai See, Programme Director, MediaCorp Y.E.S. 93.3FM. Tell her about your aspirations. An audio CD including your brief introduction should be included. You might wish to pretend to be a radio presenter and do a mock up. Do/say whatever you want ‘cos there aren’t any hard and fast rules.
And of course, if you are a real radio presenter who wishes to jump ship, please submit your full resume and audio samples which you should have plenty of.
The mailing address is Caldecott Broadcast Centre, Andrew Road, Singapore 299939.
P/S: Don’t call her. She’ll call you.
P/S2: We don’t hire pantry aunties, by the way.
4. Can I/we interview you for our school project(s)?
I’m sorry, but I receive too many such requests I have to decline all.
5. Can I/we hire you to host wedding dinners?
Congratulations for walking down the aisle with your beloved! I don’t host weddings. Because if I were to say yes to Friend A, I’d have to host the weddings for Friends B to Z. And I don’t believe in charging people for non commercial events. Hope you understand.
6. Can I/we hire you to host a corporate/ commercial event? How much do you charge?
Yes, please! Do drop me an email [cruz.zhiyong@gmail.com] and I’ll have my management contact you. I’m not the cheapest host around, but I’m definitely not the most expensive either. I’m much more comfortable hosting in Mandarin, but I’ve done bilingual shows- albeit for a little extra.
