Louis Koo and WOOHOO Bear
8 February 2007 Thursday | Woohoo! Bear

Mr Koo saw my Woohoo Bear when he was in the studios to promote Happy Birthday last month. I didn’t know he took a picture until someone told me the image on the left was published in I Weekly last week.

Oh, if you’re a fan of his, he will be coming to Singapore with Daniel Wu next Monday for the gala premiere of The Protégé .

Drama on the roads
31 January 2007 Wednesday | The speed demon, Woohoo! Bear

When I was in Taipei last week, Ryan took over my car as usual.

The tank was full. The cashcard was ready. Everything was ok, except that the road tax label I renewed in December wasn’t displayed.

Muahahah.

And so, he got stopped by the Traffic Police late one night and was asked a number of questions, including the ownership of the car, and why there wasn’t a valid road tax label. He answered all the questions with a breeze until they decided to check the car.

1. They opened up the boot and saw about 10 WOOHOO BEARs.

“What are these?”

2. They saw my credit card in the car.

“Why is your friend’s credit card lying around? What is his name?”

3. Then they saw compact powder.

“You say your friend is a guy right? Why is there make up in the car?”

Muahahaha.

Sigh. My friend(s) wouldn’t have such problems if I was erm, more famous.

1. OMG! WOOHOO BEARs! Can I have one please? Pretty please?

2. OMG! Cruz Teng’s credit card! Can I take a picture?

3. OMG! Cruz Teng’s powder? So he uses this brand ah? Is it good?

Woohoo Bear Charity Auction
26 December 2006 Tuesday | Woohoo! Bear

Happy Boxing Day!

About the WOOHOO BEAR, I didn’t expect the reponse to be that overwhelming…

Gam siah gam siah, for liking my WOOHOO BEAR.

The online selling bit might be sound enticing, but it’s not classy to sell a gift online right?

But a charity auction is different…

While I don’t have some auditor or charity council watching over me, (actually, I do know a full time auditor and two ex-auditors…) I sincerely swear that the money collected from the highest bidder will go to MDAS. I’ve only selected one payment method so that he/she can write MDAS on the cheque directly.

So, I humbly invite you to bid for my limited edition WOOHOO BEAR. :)

***
EDIT @ 2250hrs, 26.12.06 :

1. OMG! $69.38 liao! Thank you for your support. I was a little apprehensive when setting the bid price to begin at $19.95. Whew.

2. To the people who jokingly said they will put out their bears for auction as well: I will kill you lor! I’m going to do a spot check 6 months later: EVERYONE, TAKE OUT YOUR WOOHOO BEARS! Those who do not produce their WOOHOO BEARs on demand will suffer a horrible death. Muahahahah.

The exclusive WOOHOO BEAR!
21 December 2006 Thursday | Woohoo! Bear

I decided a few weeks ago that I won’t join the Christmas shopping frenzy this year. I’ll come up with something else for my friends instead.

Ladies and gentlemen, I’m pleased to launch the WOOHOO BEAR!

No more chocolates, candies, candles and condoms from Cruz Teng… This WOOHOO BEAR will be my Christmas present to people around me!

Because of my procrastination, I wasn’t able to come up with a nicer design in time. And hor, I realised only after the final print that the logo used is in fact a draft design! I sent them the wrong image!

Anyway…

I’ve done away with the propaganda-ish cruzteng.com text on the WOOHOO BEAR. Just one word- WOOHOO. That’s why it’s called the WOOHOO BEAR lah. How creative.

The grand vision is to launch a WOOHOO BEAR each Christmas. But we’ll see how things develop from here.

Meantime, here’s my very first WOOHOO BEAR for Christmas 2006. :)
