You might be pleased to know that the Semi Bai Kah King is now Quarter Bai Kah or Bai Kah Jit Su Gu*.

I’m limping my way around without crutches most of the time. But that applies to familiar terrain, ie home and studio. Tong or Kat still plays an important role at the hospital because of the slope leading to the open air car park, and other unfamiliar places which may come with traps like slippery drain covers, uneven tarmac surfaces, etc.

The infection which occurred last Monday is well under control, after a week of antibiotics and disciplined visits to the hospital.

I’ve completed Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. In my humble opinion, there were a few lame bits here and there, but the finale was a good read.

I got a haircut this afternoon- the first in three months, and a new coat of black. I like.

I’ve just been told that the Turkey trip has been brought forward by a day. It means we’ll leave on 27.11 instead of 28.11. No worries if you are clueless about the 10 day excursion because on air promotions will begin next Monday. You’ll hear “Cruz.. Turkey” a hundred times a day.

Ok, I tried to sleep…

Then I was waylaid by people asking me online, “Wad happenend?”. The consequence of adding a line behind my nick- “MC. 2 days.”

The rather sharp pain was felt since Friday morning. I shrugged it off cos I’ve been feeling all sorts of pain and discomfort since 13 May. Then, I saw a hint of redness from underneath, and some evidence of a yellowish discharge (again).

I certainly didn’t take any prawns, sotong, and other potentially dangerous food after the previous cycle of antibiotics. Maybe I had become complacent over the weeks and neglected to keep the wound clean and dry or something.

Orbigood lah. Now I have to make a daily trip to the hospital and swallow those supersized antibiotics.

Hard of hearing or not, OGS was at the hospital for a sayang session which was very sweet of her. That was a verbal session. No physical sayanging involved. *blush

And I have no idea what Weibin said on air. It must have been something dramatic lah.

SMSes were flooding in, while I was trying to sleep the pain away. Dasmond texted his orders for me to get my ass (and foot) to the hospital and instructions to regurgitate to him the doctor’s remarks once I was done. And the press called shortly after.

Thank you everyone, but please do not be alarmed.

I had been in much more physical pain, and I’m armed with a stockpile of triangular shaped painkillers that remind me of Viagra…

It’ll be lowercase for this week… but still w-o-o-h-o-o!

I will be away for two days. Only two days, I hope.

The reason is inflammation.

I will be on antibiotics, and I’ll have to return to the hospital to have the dressing changed daily.

I’m going to sleep.

Yunhong wrote an article on my Semi Bai Kah-ness yesterday and put me on the lower left corner of Shin Min’s cover last night.

For the longest time, I wasn’t able to answer people when they asked if I was getting any better. I finally have a reply now.

1. Able to stand firmly on both feet.
2. Able to stand one legged on the the injured left foot… for two seconds?
3. Able to move extremely short distances using (only) both feet.
4. Able to move further distances using only one crutch.

I think I will be able to fly in no time…
