Cruz: How many times on the NDP stage so far?

Mark: First time as host. I last performed in my school days. I was the drum major of my school band.

Michelle & Cruz: What? Incredible!

Mark: Cannot isit!

Michelle: Can lah, can lah. Anyway, this is my 3rd time hosting the NDP. I fell into the waters last year.

Mark & Cruz: Oh really?

Mark: Aiyah, why they rescue you?!?!

Michelle: Hahaha! They were more concerned about the microphone I was holding.

Cruz: Then how?

Michelle: We were supposed to make a grand entrance last year, via jet skis. But they canned the idea after I fell.

Mark: See lah! Sabo queen!

Cruz: Right. What’s it like to host the NDP?

Mark: The nation comes together every 9 Aug, whether you’re at home or at the NDP. Standing on the grand stage this year, I do feel a little stressed. But I believe the excitement of it all is worthwhile. I hope everything will go smoothly.

Michelle: I’m hoping everyone will be moved to tears! Hahha.

Mark: I think the finale this year will be a spectacular one. The best ever.

Cruz: Yes! Remember the PLEDGE MOMENT at 8.22pm!
