I was happy to watch the rerun of 瘦身男女 on Channel U last evening. I totally adore Sammi Cheng in her various roles that made her Box Office Queen a few years back.

There was a scene in the movie where Andy and Sammi had some fried chicken as they dug through tonnes of paper to look for evidence of Andy’s innocence.

That gave me a sudden craving for fried chicken.

*Funny how the word craving appears so frequently in my blog nowadays.

Cruz:
Shit man. I saw them eat KFC, I oso wanna eat!
I tried to control lah… Then I saw the clock 940pm- I decided it’s still quite early…
Then then… Yuan lai the clock no batt!
OMG. I ordered KFC at 10.50pm!
Jit bai si liao.

Don:
It’s ok lah… Bui will bui… but buay si eh lah…

JT:
Jit bai really can change name to Bah Bah Teng liao!

WB:
They should have this opening line after 10pm. “It’s very late already… Mr Teng, are you sure you want to order oily and fattening fried chicken at 10.50pm?”

The chicken was delivered at 11.35pm. By the time I finished ONE crispy AND TWO original (pieces of chicken) AND a coleslaw, it was already 12am.
