Update: Ah… All the helpful people around. Friends, friends of friends, as well as blog and twitter followers were quick to lend a helping hand. Problem solved. But it’ll take a while for me to import everything back. Meantime, thanks everybody- especially Von and Elyn!

Following that spam link injection, I had to clean things up.

And so, I decided to wipe out everything and install a fresh copy of WordPress. I had exported my blog entries by year and is in the midst of manually deleting those links. *panting*

The problem now is I can’t seem to import the cleaned up entries back here. I suspect it’s got something to do with permissions somewhere, because I had no problems importing the XML into another wordpress.com blog- a temporary site I registered just so I could experiment with the import/export thing.

At the same time, I can’t seem to activate some of the plugins- like Tweet & Like. The message is I ‘do not have sufficient permissions to access this page’.

People with the faintest idea of what I’m talking about— I NEED YOUR HELP, PLEASE! How should I import everything back?! Please drop me an email (cruz.zhiyong [at] gmail.com). Thank you.
