I discovered to my surprise this morning that I still have ten days of annual leave to clear by the end of March. Woohoo! I’ll be staying put in Singapore though, because I travelled too much in the last quarter, and I have two confirmed trips (plus a pending one) from Apr to Jun.

The main reason why I’m announcing my leave schedule is that we have adorable friends and listeners who SMS in each time they hear either of us alone on air. “Where’s Cruz? Where’s Jiahui?”. I bark at my friends, “If she’s absent, it’s either she’s on leave or MC lah! What else? Secretly get married meh? Do you have to ask every single time she’s away?!”. Listeners, on the other hand, get polite text replies complete with smileys. Haha.

Jiahui will be away from 22 Feb to 3 Mar, and my dates of absence are 12 Feb (Fri), 16-19 Feb (Tue-Fri), 4-5 Mar (Thu-Fri), 11-12 Mar (Thu-Fri) and 18-19 Mar (Thu-Fri). Right, I won’t be shouting IT’S FRIDAY for a while. You guys DIY yeah?

Notice I’m taking leave towards the end of the week. Firstly, I never have Monday blues. No one will, if they go home at 10am on Mondays. And there can only be one reason why I’m away on Thursdays.
