I know everyone’s busy with the CNY preparations. I feel bad about disrupting your spring cleaning plans or interrupting your bak kwa gorging activity. But you see, I need some help here.

It’s been a while now… I struck a turkey while in Turkey three years ago, so the last time I actually held a trophy at an awards show was in 2006. I don’t quite remember the anxiety of anticipating, or the exhilarating joy when my name was called. Won’t you refresh that memory by voting for me? Hahahha!

After a brief hiatus, Singapore Radio Awards is back. And it’s time to vote for your favourite Y.E.S. 93.3FM DJ. While I won’t be devastated if I don’t bring home a 4th trophy in this category, I can’t help but pester you to do the usual voting.

If you’ve been listening to the morning show, and enjoy counting down to Friday (and then shouting IT’S FRIDAY!) with me, get cracking and start SMS-ing!

I was advised to list a couple of things that I’ve done over the last 12 months, in order to refresh your memory, and to fuel up your desire to vote for me. Please lah. No need one lah. You folks don’t need me to give you reasons on why you must love me.

If you do require a reason, then you’re probably not part of the clique. There’s a table full of flat Coke and charred bak kwa over at that corner. Move along now…
