Happiest Man in Radio
Yes. At 1.44am today, I declare myself to be the HAPPIEST MAN IN RADIO.
I have finally completed the mammoth task of scripting all 25 episodes for the current Radio Drama [2009]. I haven’t been blogging about this project, much unlike the way I used to harp incessantly on my previous productions. But you know about this Drama la hor?
I’ve just went through one of the most amazingly tough periods of my life (in recent memory). There was the morning show revamp in Mar. While coping with one school assignment after another, I was struggling at the same time to do the radio drama. I skipped a couple of concerts; I turned down several mahjong invites; I (politely) asked people to buzz off on MSN Messnger; I was getting frequent headaches. I felt like I was a no-life loser who totally overestimated oneself.
Until now.
The last assignment of the semester was submitted last Friday. And the scripting was completed minutes ago.
I’m free to paint the town red! WOOHOO!
For a day or two only lah.
Because examinations begin next week in 2 weeks.
Come mid may, I’ll be the happier than happiest man in Radioland.

mid-may i’m waiting too. but it’s kinda of a dilemma, hoping to have more time yet wanting time to pass.

Hi Cruz,
Hope all is well.
When i first started listening to you in the am, your voice is so loud and jovial..thats why i think your lady boss put u there to boost everyone’s day… though i find it noisy at times.
now with Jiahui being yr partner.. ha ha…our morning is always so “bright” and “cheerful”!!
its a different feel to Peifen. i enjoyed listening to you cos u are frank and dare to give comments though sometimes could be quite offensive.. but i like it. i smiled when i was driving and the drivers besides must be thinking why is this lady smiling to herself?! ha ha
please continue with what u are doing and i guess its because of the passion in this job that makes u good DJ!
