Two parties later, I’m back at home unpacking stuff from the Beijing trip last week, and packing for Hong Kong later today. I hope I won’t be late for my morning show which begins in 3 hrs 45 mins…
Update at 12pm: Not too good a Christmas morning for me. I was rushing madly the entire time. I woke up slightly later than usual, so I had to step on it and make the road hoggers eat dirt. I arrived on the dot eventually. Next, I rushed to do a trailer I forgot to do the day before. Then again, the weather yesterday was superbly conducive for sleeping in, so I might have procrastinated even if I remembered.
Later, I rushed home to change and pick up my luggage. The detour was necessary as I didn’t wash up properly earlier, and there was no way I could board the plane in shorts and flip flops. Ya what, I have an image to maintain! Thank goodness I had packed before going to bed.
While rushing to meet the best friend (who had returned from Hong Kong and was supposed to drive me to the airport and take over the car), he called to say that he was trapped at home. His parents locked the door before leaving the house earlier and he was unable to get out because his keys were in the office. What the….
I swiftly dialled for a cab as I rushed back home to park the car,. Time and tide waits for no man! Hahaha. I didn’t say anything, but the enthusiastic driver rushed me to the airport in record breaking time. I didn’t peer at the speedometer ‘cos I was repeatedly checking that I had my passport with me.
All the rush for nothing apparently. The 1.30pm flight has been retimed to 2.15pm. What the….
