B is for …
I’m trying very hard to regain momentum. The truth is, I haven’t been really working since the Singapore Hit Awards ended. Remember I was in Hong Kong for a week? I came back for a couple of mornings before flying off to Taiwan. Getting up before 6am was something I had to get used to all over again.
Instead of “slowly” settling down, I allowed my promo gal, Ah Neal, to fill my timetable with one engagement after another.
“You want to do this tomorrow?” - Ok.
“There’s a press conference next week. You want to do?” - Ok.
“Don’t forget the meeting tomorrow. It’s for the event this weekend and the production next week.” - Ok.
I should probably rest while I can, but I couldn’t turn down a ticket worth $550.
Kylie Minogue was divine.
After knowing the HFF team from the Heroic Rendezvous opening, they had me over for the grand opening of Prosperity Kitchen on Thursday. Kevin Cheng, Bobby Au-Yeung and Raymond Lam were there. Liyi hosted in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Prosperity Kitchen 滿恆樓：15 Md Sultan Road
A crew from Taiwan arrived on Friday to do a documentary on the development of the Chinese music industry, as well as the influence of Taiwanese music in the region. As the premier music station in Singapore, Y.E.S. 93.3FM was an obvious choice to be featured. The really senior ones were either away or unavailable, so it was me who had to put up an intellectual front for the cameras.
I’m sure you would have guessed what I said before the interview began, “不好意思。camera可以高一點嗎？這樣的話我看起來會比較瘦。謝謝。”
