Congratulations to our female paddlers for (narrowly) beating the impressive Koreans in the Table Tennis Semis and thus making it to the finals!

We’re assured of an Olympics medal after 48 years. WOW!

    thou li jia wei didn’t win in single.. but she fight back during the double!! awesome!!

    btw.. this morning peifen and you mentioned the chairman of SSC say that he will persuade for a public holiday if we can get a olympic medal… true??!!! hahahaha…

    Teo Ser Lerk said that if singapore gets a gold medal we will have a public holiday to celebrate! haha it’s a 50 50 chance of getting a gold medal and confirm get a medal!

    Is a great news indeed !!however is just a pity that the whole team including the coach originate from china …whom later turned singaporean. I am just wondering if they win a medal. Is a medal represented from pure Singaporean or PRC Singaporean?emm.

      Ya lor, my friends & I were also having the same feeling like you.

      We were saying that if S’pore will win in the end, it also didnt represent

      China has lost cos our players are originate from there…

      but anyway, I still wish our players all the best

    Yeah.. but the match happened to falls on a Sunday.. Hope that we can have a additional public holiday on the 17th August next year.. :)
