陈奕迅《Moving On Stage 11》演唱会
Prior to the concert, I thought the “11″ in the event title referred to the number of years he spent in the entertainment industry. It was only much later that I found that the show in Singapore was the 11th stop in the tour.
Indisputably the best vocalist amongst his peers, Eason gave a splendid performance at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last weekend. The current King of Hong Kong Pop charmed the audience with one hit after another. 不如不见 for instance, provided an excellent opportunity to showcase his vocals with a simple uncluttered music arrangement. As he bantered with the audience in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, he giggled so much we deduced that he must have been very happy to spend his birthday in Singapore. (He spent two more days in town to celebrate his 34th with pals after the concert.)

Yes, very impressive vocal, spontaneous rapport with audience, good dance cheoragraphy. Eason and the band manage to even beat the lousy indoor stadium’s sound system.
He really emotes 林夕和黄伟文’s lyrics very well. HK is 99% manufactured bubblegum pop nowadays, but their 1% such as Eason is admired/adored by the Chinese music industry.
