Holiday Mood
I hate waking up early.
I hate getting up out of bed before sunrise.
I hate driving to work with half opened eyes.
Especially so on rainy mornings.
I’ve been doing this for 4.5 years already.
And I have every intention to carry on.
Because of these people… Haha!
I casually mentioned on air yesterday that I will be on leave next week. These are some of the SMSes that came in without any prompting.
Dramatic DJs have dramatic listeners lah.
It’s not very clever to be going to Bangkok in June, when it can get really warm, and when you can expect to see fellow Singaporeans at every turn and every corner. Contrary to what Vicky, Faith and many others think, I do not have a secret child. I didn’t plan for a getaway to coincide with the school holidays.
The five days of annual leave brought forward from the previous financial year would have to be cleared by the end of June- or it would be forfeited. It wasn’t possible to be away the last two months because of Long Hu Bang’s 25th Anniversary, [ 1979 ], and yet another secret project.
When I was rendered (temporarily) immobile last year, people like Jowie, Connie and Cheese were flocking to Bangkok. I texted them on their departure, “Go to the Four Face Buddha. Ask Buddha por bee I can walk soon!”
I was supposed to thank Buddha in face last year, but I cancelled the trip at the 11th hour because the character I voiced in Dark Alley 2 died in a plane crash. I scared lah. Hahahaha.

Last week Peifen was on leave, heard that she will be back on air on wed. But only 3 days then u going on leave already. =( I like listening to both of you on air. A nice and prefect team. But anyway do enjoy yourself. I’ll always support Wan Ren Mi. CheerZzzz

Hear about you going on leave next week… Wahahaha i’ll be on leave next week (Tue to Thu) too but will still miss you on Mon & Fri… Especially Friday’s … Well enjoy your bangkok trip… Help me to eat my share and shop my share too… I oso wanna go for a trip real soon but the earliest will have to wait till Sept…

Hehe.. me just went to bkk last month.. very nice and friendly people there.. Great shopping and eating.. must try their cheap bird nest.. and great massage.. really miss bkk a lot~~~

Yoz Cruz…. So surprised that you post my words on the blog…. Well, really leh, without u on air in the morning, no more WOOHOOOOOO in the morning, no more waking up sounds in the morning le…
Anyway, it is a waste if the leave is forfeited… U shld hav a break after sooooo long of the work and task… Wish u enjoyable trip and do take care… Dot go there and refused to come back huh…

So PF have to endure alone for five days le… but not really alone as she have us…. TC and Enjoy ur BKK trip wif lots of goodies, cheap bird nests and Thai Massage…
