1983年4月，小小的新加坡終於有了屬於自己的排行榜節目。我們不再被海外音樂榜“牽著鼻子走”。我們可以為自己喜歡的歌手與歌曲投下支持票，反映新加坡本地音樂走向。
「龍虎榜」25週年慶典啟動儀式星期一傍晚隆重舉行。 25小時金曲馬拉鬆在傍晚5點掀開序幕。最先播出的是1983年年度頂尖金曲－費玉清的「此情永不留」。隨後的「對你愛不完」、「夢醒時分」、「紅蜻蜓」等金曲也讓現場觀眾驚喜連連。
即將投入戲劇演出的「絕對Superstar」冠軍陳世維是開場嘉賓，除了演唱龍虎榜榜上歌曲「不需理由」，也談到歌曲首次上榜的興奮程度。去年拿下「新加坡金曲獎」新人獎項的迷路兵除了以首張專輯登榜，也憑著「黃金路」主題曲「路」在榜上佔有一席之位。他們笑說，這首歌曲讓他們多了師奶粉絲。
快要在4月14日發片的伍家輝現場自彈自唱去年的登榜金曲「一人一半」。因為在「金曲大挑戰」中成功過關，順利演唱五首歷年金曲，而特獲全國最文靜DJ發出的「萬人迷VIP通行證」，能隨時上節目宣傳！隨之登場的頂尖音樂創作人小寒與黃韻仁回顧了10年來榜上風光史、也悉數10年前出道的“心酸史”。
陶喆在最後15分鐘壓軸出場，與龍虎榜在位最久榜主慧詩共同把慶典啟動儀式推向最高潮。

Cruz, I just want to inform you something leh, have you listened to mr & mrs Chew? Actually everyday I will listened to both wan ren mi and mr & mrs chew (go to work and go home loh) and I realised that there are many times what was mentioned in mr & mrs chew also mentioned in wan ren mi. duplication leh. Like today you mentioned abt andy lau wang qing shui that “ahha”, mr chew already talk abt it last few days ago loh.
i saw u at the event.. it was my 1st time seeing u in person and guess wat, i felt a bit star struck leh! and u kno, u look better in person! taller than i imagined and IMO, not fat leh! why ppl keep saying u’re fat?!?!? *scratches head*
wait, perhaps cuz u were wearing black colour that day?? haha… kidding!!!
my personal opinion lah, I feel Cruz is actually quite cute in looking loh (especially smiling), not fat, just nice.
