I realised late last night that I had missed a deadline. We were supposed to produce a station tagline each. (The short announcement that goes Singapore’s Number 1 Y.E.S. 93.3FM Your Entertainment Station!) Amidst all the hullabaloo for the revamp, secret project, and pretty much everything else, I totally forgot about the task, despite a personal reminder from the boss that very morning.

Here’s what you do before your boss discovers your booboo.

“Sorry sorry sorry! Haiyah I forgot to do the thing last Friday! Ok ok, as punishment and compensation, I did TWO! Paiseh paiseh.”

I learnt from the SAF that no one should impose further penalties once punishments have been served.

It proved to be effective. Huishi’s SMS went, “Haha. Ok.”

Phew.
