7am-8pm
A full dinner at an ulu corner of Seletar Camp, and a scoop of apple cinnamon ice cream (which wasn’t that satisfying, for the record) at Serangoon Gardens ended a hectic Thursday.
I definitely wasn’t trying to score points by staying in the office till 8pm on Thursday. Every single person- from Sales and Marketing to News and Programming asked, “What are you doing here at this hour?!”. Never mind that the questioning began from as early as 3pm.
Apart from three hours of WRM, and a meeting with a beauty client before a lavish Japanese lunch with G, I spent most of the day fiddling with the new station website. Although the launch has been delayed, I still had plenty of data entry to do in the form of chart archives.
Jasmine from New Media was at her desk, ready for queries and troubleshooting. By the 7th call, we had omitted the pleasantries. “Hi Jasmine, this is Cruz. I would like to ask … …”. became “Oei Jasmine, wah lao! Why cannot one?!”. Hahaha. At 7.55pm, I decided I didn’t like one of the header images and asked if I could change it myself. She either had no confidence in my photoshop skills, or that she was simply an angel. She emailed me a new image within an hour. Sweet. Thanks, Jasmine!

yeah that ice-cream place looks alright on the outside, but disappoints me each time, For The Record, i gave it two chances, and they failed me twice… Ever had choc fondue which has oil floating on the surface of the choc sauce ?

Can I ask where is that ulu place in seletar camp that you went for late dinner?
cruz: singapore flying club. don’t have the exact address and i was tailgating my friend so i cant tell u the directions. sorry..
