I’m really good at procrastinating when it comes to things like erm, spring cleaning for CNY and drycleaning my winter wear…
Except when I’m not in town, I’m almost never without a computer and internet access for more than 24 hours. If not for the invention of this wonderful game known as mahjong, I might have turned into an internet addict and perhaps be the cover guy for rehabilation ads.
So it should be no surprise I lowered my credit limit on the first working day of the week. After hurried discussions with my IT team, and others who learnt about my BSOD- Blue Screen of Death as Peifen told me… I went to buy myself a *tada* Macbook.
It’s a little steep, yes. But there was a discount for upgrading to a 2GB RAM, and I ended paying slightly lesser than what I expected and went home with free speakers and a free, but ugly case.
With the new Macbook, my IT team is henceforth retrenched as they have minimal or zero experience in Macs. Replacing them are two Macbook users- my WRM partners, Peifen and Ivy. The very first thing Ivy taught me was how to switch to Chinese input.
She had wanted me to bring the Macbook to work this morning so that they could give me an orientation programme.
That plan was KIVed because of a sore throat and stinging pain in the right ear.
My first (of very few, hopefully) MC for the year. Bleah.

No wonder din hear yr voice this morning when I switched on to WRM… haha.. Take care!
