Ok, the cat is out of the bag.
I explicitly told everyone with access to the microphone in the 933 studio not to harp on this. It would be a secret, I thought… until we unwittingly spilled the beans on the grand stage at the Singapore Hit Awards.
I never thought I would fall for someone so quickly and so deeply. And I never thought that the aftermath could be that impactful. I never really understood what came over me that night when I just tried writing a couple of lines and made them rhyme. And I certainly didn’t expect it to become Justin Ce Tian’s first ever Mandarin single.

well. i knew it long ago. in fact, i was stunned when i first heard that song by justin ce tian.
when mary was hosting the hot stuff 933 chart the other day, when she introduced this song and said the lyricist is a new guy by the name of ‘wen jing’, aiyah, must be you lah.
sorry, but i burst out laughing upon hearing the ‘wen jing’.
nevertheless, it is lyrics well-written.

in fact, this song left me impression long ago back during the dark alley part 1 period.. in one of your entries… who knows by the time dark alley 2 comes out, it was already sold to justin?! haha.. great song indeed, else i wouldn’t remember it since so long ago! lol.. good job! æ–‡é™ sure still have a long way to go!!!

Cruz, after reading the lyric, a lot of pics appeared in my mind. I do have a memory of such before but it all in the past. Now when I think of it, I felt I am just a fool at that time. You said “Anybody can write a song” this morning.
I agree since all we need are some words and some music. There is no need to be able to read music or play any instrument.
But, the ability to write a really good song is an acquired skill. It isn’t easy and you did it. Keep up the good job, Cruz! Way to go!
