My car is still a car. Chey.
7 July 2007 Saturday | 18:10 | Five Broken Bones, Play

After weeks (?) of arranging and changing dates, the Bai Kah King finally met up with Jcube- JL, JT and JX.

As I enviously eyed JL’s prawn omelette rice, and the seafood fried noodles which JT nearly ordered, I sorrowfully exercised some restraint in avoiding seafood and settled for a chicken rice with lime sauce, which turned to be really awful.

I was kept busy throughout the lunch as JX brandished his SLR. People who have not had their hair cut in 2 months, coupled with blackheads and zits are most unwillingly to have their close up photos taken with professional looking cameras, you know?

As the cameraman left to settle more work, the other 2 gave me a movie treat, on account that I hadn’t stepped into a cinema for ages.

Golden Village Bishan gladly gave us aisle seats upon request and the floor staff displayed such enthusiasm in assisting the Bai Kah King up and down the stairs and into the loo, that I felt I just had to send an email directly to GV’s Managing Director complimenting their impeccable service and friendliness.

TRANSFORMERS was totally awesome. The humour, action and effects were absolutely cool. It was FUN, FUN, FUN!

And if you’re like me who was distracted towards the end of the 132-minute movie because of a full bladder, there is more reading material here.

I walked into the carpark wishing that my car would somehow transform too…

It didn’t hasn’t.
