Monday blues to the power of infinity.
2 July 2007 Monday | 19:09 | Five Broken Bones, The King's Dramatic Life

1. I’m hungry.
No food the entire day because I had to fast before the operation.

2. I’m grouchy.
Not much rest because there were so many people in the day ward. Why do irritating parents bring along irritating kids who can’t keep their mouths shut in the hospital?

3. I’m in pain.
A lot of pain. I wonder if I will die from an excessive intake of painkillers.

Edit at 10pm:

After blogging like a brat and whining like a loser… *regains royal composure*

1. I’m no longer hungry.

2. I’m less grouchy.
Thanks to some sayang-ing by Mum, the best friend, JT, CZ and GC.

3. I’m still in pain.
Tamade

Apparently, JT’s chants aren’t working…

Pain pain go away,
Little Cruz wanna play

What right you have to say others are irritating?
You think it is easy to handls kids in public?
Please don’t offend others with your words.

Hey King!! Still in pain? Have you tried eating a tub of ice cream by yourself? It just might make you feel better, especially in such a hot day like today…

Parents who do not teach their children to behave in public and yet expect others to tolerate are very selfish. The hospital is NOT a playground. There are many patients like Cruz who need the peace and quiet, not the endless chatter of noisy kids.

pardon us, Ms Ling.. if you were a patient in a hospital, you need peace.. my grandpa was in ICU early this year.. there were two kids playing with the door at the entrance of the ICU, constantly pressing the doorbell and tugging at the door when it closes automatically.. their parents were visiting a patient inside the ICU, and turned a blind eye to their kids’ mischief.. they went on the climb onto the telephone booth at the waiting area after i told them to stop playing.. btw, the automatic door also broke down and TTSH had to get their technician to repair..

ask yourself, is this the kind of environment you want to recuperate in? kids can play somewhere else, but definitely not in the hospital..

my grandpa never made it out of ICU eventually :(

    ON A LIGHTER NOTE..
the chant should be like wenn says.. LITTLE CRUZIE wants to play.. not just CRUZ wants to play la.. Cruz! Quick get JT to change the chant accordingly so that you will recover faster!!
    Take care!

I know handle kids aren’t easy, esp in our today’s “belief”.

Parents use ????, no more spanking. They leave the disclipine to the teachers, but blame the teachers for “discliping” them.

3eyebear, I have a daughter, she gets very naughty at times. But when she does that in public, i wont spank her. I will firmly warn her and stop her from misbehaving. If she continues, she will know she will get spanking once we reach home. I will make sure she gets it.

Aiyo who bandaged your foot ah ? So unprofessional. And the bandage they use, looks so cheap skate. Hahaha…. Take care anyway.

Ms Just Someone.. i must say that i agree with the way you handle your daughter.. parents should not publicly hit their kids, it leaves them a dark shadow wor.. well disciplined kids will know what the “verbal warning” from the parents mean..
    KUDOS to your parenting!!

And wishing your daughter grow up to be as well loved and filial as our cruzie here.. she will always remain as “mummy’s little girl” in your heart.. that’s for sure..
