Overslept this morning; didn’t bathe properly.

Damnit. I woke up at 7.01am this morning.

My little misfortune cannot be compared to my godson’s.

Instead of catching the ferry to Pulau Tekong, he made his way to Singapore General Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Ward last evening.

Oh man, the fever came at a really bad time. (Not that there’s actually a good time to have a fever…)

It was his first return to civilisation after the initial three weeks as Recruit Ng. Getting an MC on the first bookout wasn’t a really good idea.

And he was admitted on 1 Apr. Because he also had a throat infection, and couldn’t talk on the phone, it took me at least four hours to truly believe that his SMS notification wasn’t an April Fool’s joke.

真可怜。
