Dear Mr Steve Jobs,
Last Saturday, I picked up an iPod (30GB white) because my iPod mini (4GB silver) malfunctioned. While stroking the item, I wondered aloud when you guys will ever market a iPod that comes with phone functions. I was certain you guys were working on it.
And oh, a few days later, everyone (almost) was drooling over the iPhone!
I would like to thank you for doing the launch in the the United States. Although that Mr Brown (he’s really famous here!) thinks that you’re mad for doing so.
I just spent $428 on an iPod. And I’m gonna spend another few hundred bucks getting a new camera this week because they just informed me that repair fees for the faulty one would be $190. They must be mad(der than you).
Anyway, I need some buffer time, you see. I can’t be seen getting so many gadgets at one go! My bosses might think that I’m doing so well, and decide to give me a smaller bonus.
So, thank you very much for delaying the Asian launch till 2008.
Reason #2: The really creative Mr Sim might have come up with a ZenPhone or something by then.
And we’ll certainly be spoilt for choice.
You surely have the welfare of Singaporean consumers at heart. No wonder we all love you.
