The No1 sentence of the day was “Eh, the next person to leave, pls hor! Announce earlier hor. Wah laos, very boh eng leh.”
Lingzhi will be doing the final morning show on Friday. – By “final”, I mean “the last one for the time being“.因为世界是圆的，我们还是会见面。
I had to abort my original plan of finishing a trailer and grabbing a mid afternoon beauty sleep when we decided that we should do something special on Friday morning. One thing led to the next, and before we knew it, we had a major project going on.
It was the first time that so many of us- Mary, Liyi, Chongqing, Weibin and I- worked on a joint production. And the first time we completed the brainstorming and execution in seven hours. Fun might not be the correct word to use here, but I was really very amazed and impressed by the way we operated today. If anyone had any doubts about the cohesiveness of the station, we would let you know that the project today would not have been completed without teamwork.
Lingzhi wasn’t totally unaware of the surprise. She was still hanging around in the studios in the afternoon and the poor girl was ordered to shuffle from room to room. “Oei, can you like get out of here for a minute? We need to discuss this.” “Hey, please leave this room now, we need to do a recording here.”
As if the final 48-hour countdown to GCMA wasn’t enough to wreck our nerves, we had to initiate this project which saw us rather burnt out by the end of the day.
Note to those who saw us at Liang Seah this evening: Hey, we went through an extremely tiring day. We don’t usually look like that. Hahaha.
