Because I woke up fifteen minutes behind schedule…
Because it’s been a while since I folded the No 4 sleeves…
Because my boots were covered with a layer of dust and I had to wipe it off…
Because I couldn’t find the green belt to go with the army trousers…
Because my car was parked four hundred metres away from the MPH…
I was late in reporting this morning.
Well, I thought the inprocessing would take ages (like before) and no one would ever notice that I was late.
Oh boy, I was wrong.
Apparently the new system of scanning IDs ensured everyone was inprocessed in minutes.
And ALL the officers I knew were in the MPH when I stepped in.
Muahahahah. Jin paiseh lah.
Well, at least I reported one minute before the CO (aka Commanding Officer = biggest shot) arrived.
