A few months ago, I wrote a song- YES! I wrote a song!
A full set of lyrics to describe what I was going through… Thanks to inputs from a few professionals in the music industry… Some of them didn’t like the fact that my lyrics rhymed too much. But… But… But… 林夕 oso like that what!
Later on, I tried getting people to compose a tune, but nothing actually happened.
Until HS appeared in June…
Just when I KIV-ed that set of lyrics in some obscure folder on my desktop, she told me this afternoon that they would be doing a demo next week! Which means, the lyrics I wrote will be transformed into a full song, complete with chords, vocals and all! WOAH!
… … Soon, some heavenly king or queen might pick that song!
… … Soon, people all over Asia might listen to that song!
… … Soon, if people all over Asia like that song (or singer) enough, they might just vote for the song (or singer), and that song might appear on the charts!

Okay, okay. I have no intentions of changing my day job yet. And taking the regional music industry by storm is the last thing on my mind.
Something happened to me a few months ago. Because I could not and did not want to blog about the saga on a public domain, I had it documented in a different way. And seriously, I don’t really care about the rights issues and royalty fees… I just wanted to get my very first song published.
I’m one step closer now.
We’ll see how things go…
Meanwhile, there’re two things you guys can do.
1. Please think of an alias for me. I don’t want to use my real name lah.
2. Please start getting used to my new label. Call me DJ/ Blogger/ Songwriter.
Now, the term “songwriter” is very appropriate. I’ve only written one song so far. Hence, SONG Writer. Muahahaha.
