Final week of voting.
All right, it’s the final week of voting. After remaining relatively dignified for the last three weeks, it’s time for me to be shameless with a capital S.
Time is running out, people!
Really, this is the time of the year I feel so loved. Winning an award is never a solo achievement. Because of the people around me, I’ve managed to walk up that stage the last two years, to smile gingerly, while checking that the name on the trophy is really mine. Thank you so much for making me Friendliest and Favourite the last two years.
Thank you. For accepting my on air and online persona. For giving me your vote, ignoring the obvious fact that there is someone with a voice nicer than mine, and who is more humorous than I am and more intelligent than I can ever be…
Now, because winning an award is never a solo achievement, I guess I would have to do some serious extortion again. Muahahaha.
