At 4pm, Friday, YS was struggling at SGH.

Barely an hour later, she sent me an SMS: Hi! My baby gal has arrived!

Woohoo!

I never knew how WonderWoman-ish she was.

Apparently when she couldn’t get a bed at the hospital, she went around having lunch and even back to her mum’s to take a shower despite the pain. And she didn’t use any epidural hor. Did I mention the baby weighed 3.4kg? Can you imagine how painful the delivery was? Whoa.

(By the way, once the pain starts, it’s pointless to inject epidural right? Is it? Is it?)

When visitors strolled in the next day, she was walking around and entertaining people.

If not for the need to feed the baby, I think she would have taken up my suggestion to have dinner at Orchard. Hahaha.
