Nightmare of the Year

Bad Monday.

Woke up with a headache. And I vividly recalled the worst nightmare I had in 2006. :O

I dreamt that Art was away and had me staying in his house to, erm, guard the place. Because the house was very big, I didn’t know how to secure the doors.

Someone came in and stole my phone!

Just my luck, I thought. Hey, it’s time to go to work.

I walked out of the mansion and saw my car gone!

Losing a phone and a car! Woah!

No phone how to call the police? How to tell my boss I can’t go to work? How to get out of that place? Insurance got cover theft or not?

The first thing I did when I woke up was to run to the window and peer down. Ok, the car is still there. Hahaha.

It doesn’t sound half as freaky when this is put in print, but I was rather shaken this morning.

And the funny thing is that, the house in my dream isn’t Art’s present abode. It was a place which I have visited more than once in my dreams! Some secluded place with lots of greenery, like Sentosa. It didn’t have a owner in my previous dreams, and now it became Arthover’s home.

When I related this on air, Lingzhi said “Hor hor! It might mean you’ll lose something important soon.”

On Dreammoods.com, I read that:

To dream that you lose something may mean that you really have misplaced something that you had not realised yet. It may also be a signal for you to clean out and reorganize your life. You have become overwhelmed and distracted with the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life.

On a symbolic note, losing things in your dream may signify lost opportunities, past relationships or forgotten aspects of yourself. Your personal associations to the thing you lose will clue you into the emotional meaning and interpretation of your dream.
