Although that fact has been established for a rather long time (mostly by Me, Myself and I), she was the first person to say that aloud in the most blatant manner ever.
She’s the first person to call me Sweetie.
And she’s going to London to join her husband next week.
I didn’t know Michelle in time to attend the wedding last year but I was fortunate enough to clock sufficient dinner time with her to be extended an invitation to her residence in London.
That’s when I took out my Monopoly board. “Eh, how about a place in the purple grid? Mayfair or Park Lane? The green, yellow or red grids sound fine too. You won’t be staying in the brown grids right?”
Someone will be (or has he already been) noticeably affected by Michelle’s departure. “Ok 乖。。乖。。三年很快就会过去了。。。”
Over at my end, I can’t wait for her to go! And I am considering hiring some pom pom girls to the airport this weekend to kick start her adventure in the British capital!
It’s a great opportunity to be out for the country for a while. Something which I’ve always wanted to do. There might be some culture shocks, and all. But I’m sure she will make new friends there, settle down comfortably and have the time of her life! Woohoo!
