KNS
As a (rather) frequent traveller, I’ve always been prudent…
- Storing cash in more than one location;
- Bags and valuables always within sight;
- Never talk to strangers, even if they resemble Brad or Angelina.
While I’ve been conned (in minor ways) at various places, I never expected to be ripped off at the airport!
Stationed somewhere near the check in counters, this lady officer in uniform signalled us over to seal our bags.
I thought it was the usual procedure… Security concerns, etc…
Seeing her in uniform made me thought it was compulsory mah..
To my horror, she charged us RMB $40!
What the ?! Three pieces of luggage for (about) S$8?!
Why didn’t she mention the charges BEFORE reaching out for our bags? And why wasn’t there a PROMINENT sign?

Oh yes, Chunjia heard my string of vulgarities…
