Berjaya Times Square is huge. Besides a shopping mall, restaurants, cinemas and an indoor theme park, it had convention and accomodation facilities. Jan checked the five of us into this suite.

Look! I could see the Twin Towers (and pretty much everything else) from my bed!It’s funny the first thing we did- having a meal at 4pm in the room- was to be the last thing we did as a group for the next 48 hours.

I showered, plonked into bed and subsequently refused to get out of bed, despite a most tempting invite to go to Genting at 10pm. They could be muttering Good Riddance, while they embarked on their first shopping foray for the day.

And when Jack continued his shopping with other friends who were also in KL, it was the girls’ turn to nap, while Don and I ordered room service for the second time in six hours.

It was then I realised we had two pigs with us. The girls slept from 10pm till morning! Wah! And they didn’t bathe! Wah! And they were sleeping on my bed! Wah!

Nothing against sleeping marathons. I just had a strong turn off for people who don’t bathe before turning in
