It’s your last chance… …

This entry is dedicated to the person(s) who’s been trying to wrack havoc. Far from losing sleep, I had sweet dreams the past few nights :)

Guess what, this is your final, final chance to repent.

The reason why you didn’t get into trouble last month, was because I made a U-turn at the police station and didn’t follow up with the Singnet team for the IP address investigation. My friend simply said you were nasty but generally harmless. I thought so…

You know what you’ve done but I suspect you do not understand the consequences and implications of your apparently juvenile actions.

If no one has told you before, I’m telling you now. Creating a hotmail account and pretending to be me isn’t a good idea.

If you’re not convinced, read this case study.

All right, all right… I’m not a Minister lah. But did you see the text in bold?

Here’s the sentence highlighted for your perusal.

But, under the Computer Misuse Act, anyone who uses a computer with the intent to commit a crime can be fined up to $50,000 or jailed up to 10 years or both.

And the following line…

Lawyer Gloria James explained that anyone who uses a computer to impersonate someone else is guilty of an offence.

I really don’t wish to see you getting into trouble, but if you’re determined to play punk, then no one can help you.

If you do not email me a letter of repent by Sunday, I will be handing over all the required documents, including screen captures and relevant emails to the authorities.

(You might wish to check your Yahoo account for the email dated Mar 9, 3pm. Notice some discrepancies that might have let the cat out of the bag?)
