[Time of this entry changed to keep the previous post on top...]
It’s been a really busy week.
We’ve just completed upgrading of the computer system in the studio. It’s high time really. The previous version was comissioned around the same time I was enlisted. And since I’ve ORD-ed for four years, it’s time for the old one to go.

Saying goodbye isn’t tough, considering the number of problems it gave us in its twilight days.
Executing the goodbye was really hard work. We had to transfer the songs, jingles, trailers, productions, etc into the new hard drives.
And because I haven’t been doing regular housekeeping, I was surprised to find some really old stuff in the system. Like the jingles I used during my partimer days. And some really old interviews… Like the one I did with Faye Wong in Jan 2004 (!), and one I did with Yanzi for the launch of her Stefanie album- yes the one which Warner Music flew me to Taipei, only to discover the Queen lao-sai-ed that morning.
It was a time to decide which to keep and which to throw. Keeping those would mean dubbing the audio onto MDs in real time (wah laos!). Discarding would mean I have nothing to show off when I’m really old. Hahaha.
In case you hear any glitches on air the next few days, it would be the new system lah. We need some time to get used to it, so please pardon us…
And in case you wonder why you don’t hear me on air, I’m not on MC or AWOL… I’ll be clearing leave next week. Yes, the final five days before the financial year ends in March.
Happy weekend to ya, and happy nua-ing to me. =D
Oh yes, a number of people are not feeling well..
Here’s a flower @)-)—- Get well soon!
And the rest, please drink more water! =)
