4 years ago, 3SG Cruz Teng became MISTER Cruz Teng once again. Besides reclaiming my pink Identity Card, I was relieved I didn’t have to 偷偷摸摸 anymore…
I spent the final 18 months of NS, secretly working as a part time DJ… To even classify it as a secret really seemed absurd… Yeap, we were not supposed to moonlight while in NS. I think a lot of people got away by doing something more discreet… It wasn’t really my fault that my workplace was at Caldecott mah… 
I think three quarters of the camp population knew about it, but no one spilled the beans. And no one who heard me on air went to comprain. *Heng ah
Right, I’m not encouraging all you current NSFs to be like me, and neither am I proud to be 偷偷摸摸-ing. I was just glad then I could continue to hone my craft while serving the country. And I’m glad no one had a bone to pick with me.
And I would be most grateful if the relevant authorities don’t choose to settle old scores with me now. Puhlesse… I didn’t do anything publicly to compromise any security issues, and neither did my moonlighting affect my work in NS in any way then. My officers, including a current big shot Branch Head in HQ SCE can testify to that. =D

I texted him the minute I read I Weekly, “Brudder, you earn 11k a month ah?”
“No no no! I don’t earn 11k a month!”
While I have much confidence in him, and do not doubt for a second that he will earn 11k/mth soon, I seriously don’t think he has been earning 11k/mth for the past six months lah.
He wants me to tell the whole world, so here’s it.
