Weekend with the Horses…
No no… I wasn’t at the Turf Club…
I was told that Goats will get along very well with Horses and find good fortune by being with Horses in the Year of the Dog. While I did not go all out to be best friends with all the Horses I know, I was unintentionally surrounded by Horses the past two days…

By 6pm on Friday evening, I was ready to hit the bed after a full day in the office. Because of the MC on Thursday, my Friday was packed with meetings and back to back recording sessions. By the time I left the office, I was totally drained, and at the same time pretty impressed with the amount of work I did in a day.
But I decided sleeping a Friday night away isn’t the best option.
After dropping off Ryan (a Horse!) at Orchard for his night class, I had dinner with Kitty, Justin and Irvin (all Horses!) It was then I realised that the new friends I have been making for the past couple of months were all Horses!
After gulping down the lovely Swedish Meatballs at Ikea, I bade farewell to the three Horses and met another two Horses at Serangoon Gardens with Jack. Michelle is the one who will have me at her London residence at the end of the year. She has been making her best platonic male friend Jack and everyone freak out by calling me Sweetie. Muahahaha.
Mahjong was the final item on the itinerary. Pairing up with Jan (a Horse!) saw me breaking my losing streak and walking away with… $6. Hee.
I was pretty amazed at how my Friday went. I was complaining of sleepiness at 9am (!) and I actually stayed up all the way til 3am. Woohoo!

Spent two hours at Junction 8 this afternoon for the launch of Music Diary III. Well, the response was pretty overwhelming! I mean, we did autograph sessions for Music Diaries I and II before, and we closed shop rather quickly. This time, we actually had minders shepherding the crowd cos Chongqing and Peifen had to rush for another show elsewhere. Although I didn’t contribute much in this project - voicing the parts of Passerby A and Passerby B hardly counts- and someone else would be in a better position to give a speech, I would still like to shout a big THANK YOU here! Woohoo!
(I’m sure there must be a number of Horses in the crowd.)
The only Horseless event this weekend was a Yuan Xiao gathering at my uncle’s. Feeling rather ashamed, cos I’ve been exiting prematurely at previous gatherings. The eight hours at Pasir Ris was kind of a record for me.
Yes, it’s nice to play mahjong with family, and anyhow throw cards, hoping they will win (Just to update: Despite anyhowly throwing cards in the hope they win, I walked away with $16- considered a decent win cos the stakes were much lower than my usual…) And despite anyhowly playing Monopoly, I sort of won the game.. Well, the other two players were a 12 year old Dog and 6 year old Dragon, so there’s actually nothing much to shout about. Hahaha.
Steamboat Dinner at 6pm.
Ice Cream cake at 9pm.
Tang Yuan at 11pm.
What a way to welcome the first full moon in the new year…
Karoke with five Horses- Kitty, Justin, Irvin, Kian and Jaime ended the day at 3am.
Let’s see if this Horsey weekend will really bring in some luck lah huh. =P

If you’re wondering why I still have the energy to come up with this post… I’m waiting to wash off the treatment thingy… Yeap. Do not bleach your hair unless you’re so disciplined and good-lat like me.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend! =D
