1.2.3.

I was almost late for work this morning. Damn. I was probably too preoccupied with my thoughts and ended up in a wrong lane. By the time I realised my stupid mistake, it was too late to switch lanes and I had to go on. And on. And on. And on. And on. And on. Damn. The bloody U-turn was like duno how many miles away.

When I (finally) went on air to mention the date, I realised it was pretty cool! 1月23日- 1.2.3. I mean you don’t have 2月34日 or 3月45日 right?

Anyway, it’s interesting how my Monday evolved from a sibei sian day to a very packed day.

Wasn’t feeling too good when I got out of bed this morning. Two hours of sleep- and the Panadol I had before going to bed apparently wasn’t working that well…

I sighed and sighed and sighed, not so silently, cos I had a couple of things to do for the day. Mary had volunteered to cover, but I thought: *paiseh lah*

Because I was still rather full from my breakfast, which consisted of a few pieces of oily chicken and two mouthfuls of oily noodles, I bought Dasmond brunch at Novena Square in the late morning. Enough speculation already. We do not have any rifts between us. It’s purely coincidental that we (somehow) don’t appear on Thursday mornings together, not that we’re avoiding each other on air. Muahaha.

Dasmond has been rather sad lately.

His dog just died.

* Awwww

The cute fatty dog had hereditary kidney problems. And went to a better place before his second birthday.

* Awwww

Dasmond’s mum has been crying for a week already. And I didn’t probe further, in case he cried at Novena and embarrassed himself (and me).

Shortly after, I bought Ryan lunch at Bugis Junction. We broke contact for a couple of months, and now, this army buddy of mine has reclaimed the honour (or misfortune, if you prefer) of being Cruz’s Best Friend.

I wasn’t planning for a hearty lunch actually. Hey, I had a few pieces of oily chicken, two mouthfuls of oily noodles and four french fries (at Novena)!

Over his duno how many plates of sushi and my Two Fried Maki, plus Salmon Sashimi, I was severely reprimanded when I told Ryan what I did last night. His response was something along the lines of “What the fark were you thinking of? Why did you have to do that?”.

I had no idea.

Going bonkers, perhaps.

Oh, but I don’t have time to reflect or regret. I’m rushing to the screening of I Not Stupid Too with Jack.

A hectic schedule is just about the best way to banish unhappy thoughts. =/
