NYE do what?!
I sent an email last night, asking if they wanna be at Esplanade or Chjimes for the (free) countdown party, or travel to the freaking far Expo for my favourite Mambo Jambo..
Art asked: “Go Esplanade for what?”
I replied:
We hang around and COUNTDOWN!
Meaning, we stand and jostle and risk being molested..
Then when the time comes, we SHOUT 10-9-8… all the way to ONE!
This is quickly followed by a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Handshakes are mandatory; Hugs and kisses are optional.
Then we gush over the fireworks. WAH!!!
Soon, we’ll have to jostle thru the mad traffic *nabeh* and find some place to go.
How does that sound?
Damn. I think I made myself less enthusiastic… =/
Unless the fireworks display at Singapore’s Esplanade can beat the one at the Esplanade in the Philippines…
