The weekend…
It’s Opiglet’s birthday today.
Uncle, as the nick suggests, is older than me, and almost everyone else in the group… He is wiser, of course, and provides sound advice very often. Thanks for the patience, especially towards me… He knows for sure, much tolerance is required when dealing with me. Hahaha. I hope you like the Mr Chatterbox book, and the sibei complicated toy.
We had dinner at this very famous coffeeshop in Ang Mo Kio. Blk 230… or is it 231 or 232? Duno lah. Somewhere there lah. It was a little expensive, it wasn’t super super nice. But at least they had excellent customer service.
The minute carpark attendants appeared, the staff alerted customers with WHISTLES. Whether you were dipping the mini non crispy (ie: not shiok) man tou in the chilli crab gravy, or struggling with the gong, there was no way you could miss the commotion. Anyway, from the way they charged me, I’m sure they could afford to pay someone a full time salary to keep a lookout.
As people started to rush to their cars, I wondered how many people have tried to sneak away without paying. Hahaha.
Bluffed Uncle I was going home… Sneaked to 7-11 to get the Sara Lee cake… They didn’t have candles, so I got a Häagen-Dazs bar to decorate it… Btw, you people haven’t paid me! Oei! Birthday cake must share one hor!

Just for the record, I have two “Uncles” who take real good care of me.
One is getting older today; the other is up for an award.
