Happy Holidays! Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think I have any Hindu or Muslim readers, so I guess I can save the trouble of printing Happy Deepavalli or Selemat Hari Raya in bold here. 
Watcha gonna do? Please don’t be like Jan, who has taken Annual Leave for Fri and the following Mon, but has yet to plan anything. Duhz.
As usual, it’s never pleasant to get up at 5am on a Public Holiday. Ok, it’s never pleasant to get up at 5am on a Normal Day. When you know that 90% of the population will still be sleeping comfortably after a night of partying, or waking up later for a day of fun, the frown deepens.
As I hop on a cab to work every Public Holiday, I’d remember the very irritating driver last Christmas.
“Wah! Christmas oso have to work ah? Very sad hor?”
Thanks huh. For doubling my apparent sadness.
Working on Public Holidays sucks. BUT. If you’re someone who enjoys your work and therefore commits to be a responsible person who will strive to bring festive joy on the airwaves, the grouch hidden somewhere just kanna exorcised.
And Liyi cheered me up with breakfast at 9.30am. *drools
An SMS that came in at 9.44am made me smile too.
Yo Bro.. Wa today holiday, you still working ah. Me too man. Got Recording at TV Theatre until late night. Enjoy your day man.
Ok, I work till 10am, but this Superstar would be working till 10pm. The one who should be frowning should be him lah, not me. =D

I was listening to the live webcast of 933 when I thought that voice sounded very familiar. Checked on the 933 website and saw your ugly mug on the segment banner. Anyway, I’ve been trying to ring +6566911933 for the past 45mins trying to get through but to no avail, thought I’d surprise you with an overseas call. Ah well, an email would have to do.
If you still dunno by now, this is [name deleted to protect his identity], from Anderson Secondary School. The last time I met you was at [name of restaurant deleted cos the food is so-so only] about 3 years ago I think. It’s good to see that you’re moving up the ranks at 933! It’s quite admirable that you had a dream and you’ve gone for it. I’m still studying, hahahaha! Finished my degree in Mass Comm and currently pursuing a Master in accounting.
