What a weekend…
Oh! What a weekend.
What a BORING weekend!
The only redemption is probably the Singapore Learning Fest Roadshow I hosted at Suntec City on Saturday morning. There, I role-played as a cashier at the NTUC Fair Price booth. I was taught not to put edible and inedible items into the same carrier. Oh, bread and fish don’t go together too. And small items like sanitary napkins can go into a small bag on its own.
With Andrew working in Fair Price now, I’m sure I can get a job as a Junior Cashier in the future.
Twenty metres away, the kind people at the Metro booth taught me how to fold clothes in 3 easy steps and how to decipher the weird symbols that come with clothes- machine wash, hand wash, cannot bleach, drip dry, etc… They even gave me a notepad when I got it right after 500 tries!
Generally fine, until a supposedly renowned motivational speaker came to us. Instead of answering our questions the normal way, he chose to tap on Liyi’s shoulders incessantly and behaved like a monkey with fleas up his arse. Cannot even stand still for one minute isit?

This lovely Sunday, as Tut returns from her Genting trip; Don, Jack, Mandy and Aiwei summarise their Profit and Loss statements from the mahjong game; Arthover uploads his pictures from a fun-filled weekend, I was left high and dry with nothing much to do…
Because of the busy week I had, and a busier week to come, I chose to stay home and relax. But Cruz Teng is almost similar to the aforementioned monkey with fleas up the arse. I can’t sit still!

Yes, I was so bored, I typed BORED in the Google Bar and I got that URL. Ar bish. Ar bish. Ar bish. Ar bish.
The site features a long list of links. Perfect if you have no mahjong to play, no pictures to upload and basically nothing to do. Makes a good blogging topic too!
(Note: All these sites come up with plenty of pop-ups. Be sure your browser has blockers; and your anti-virus/ spyware programmes are functioning. Else, donch click huh…)
If you’re itchy-handed like me, your eyes probably lit up when you get your hands on a piece of bubble wrap right? Burst those bubbles online!
Other boh liao sites include:
And oh! I really like this:
–Ask people to prove everything they say.
(e.g. “I’m Bob, nice to meet you…” “PROVE IT!”)–Before exiting the elevator, push all the buttons.
–On the public bus, keep asking the driver nervously, “Are we there yet?”
–Phone McDonald’s and try to make a reservation for that evening.
–Send e-mail to the rest of the company to tell them what you’re doing.
(e.g. “If anyone needs me, I’ll be in the bathroom.”)
Bored no more. Hahahaha!
