I might be a little very unwell last week, but that hasn’t stopped me from thinking of new ways to make myself broke.

Enough jokes about the poshy cars. Not yet lah.

I finally called my friend, who works in Honda.

Me: “Eh, I haven’t got my license yet. But can I place an order?”

She: “Siao ah? No license buy simi car?”

Me: “I’ll have to wait anyway. Might as well order now right?”

She: (to her colleagues) “Oei, no license can buy car or not?”

Think I made her office very busy cos I heard them going into a mini discussion.

Possibly wondering if

a. it’s a prank call;

b. the caller’s a lunatic;

c. their colleague ie my friend was asking a silly question.

Anyway, the verdict is….. YES, I CAN PLACE MY ORDER!

The new Civic is due to be delivered in Jan/Feb 06. Even if I suay suay (CHOY CHOY CHOY!) fail the test on my first attempt in Dec, I should have enough time to book a retest and PASS by Jan/Feb 06 lah hor?

Even if I don’t, I’ll just get someone to hold on to the car and chauffeur me around for the time being…..
