Couldn’t stop smiling today….
Besides the good rest I had last night, I received a pleasant surprise in the office this afternoon.
I got a pay raise!
WoohooOOOooooo!!
Apparently my contract has a clause that calls for a salary review each year. I signed the contract last Aug, so this is my anniversary month. — I totally forgot about that man….
Happy.. Happy.. Happy.. Getting money when you least expect it!
Apart from the pay increment, my boss dropped another bomb on me.
I hopped that bomb with mixed feelings.
Think she kinda expected some violent objections from me.. — On hindsight, think she did the right thing by announcing the pay raise before breaking this news 
It was a good buffer.
But no, I didn’t jump around for joy, neither did I push myself to the verge of breaking something in her office…
Meantime, the news will kept confidential. Speculations are welcome, but I can’t comment on anything right now. Not till the embargo is lifted by the end of this month.
