I gave my family something to look forward to. Hahaha!

As you know, my birthday is next month… Erm, you duno? It’s 18th Sep hor. I’ve booked a place and going to brand it as a MidAutumn Party instead of naming it a Birthday Party.

My mum who always busies herself in the kitchen during festive periods, sent an email asking for Mooncake preferences. I tagged along in the email exchange and announced the MidAutumn Party happening next month.

Shortly after, someone asked if mahjong will be available…

But of course! It’s Cruz Teng’s party! We can do away with the booze, but how can we omit mahjong! Not that I’m really playing- I usually go like “Eh, get up and let me play for 5 minutes ley.” And of course, the person who gives up his/her seat absorbs my losses automatically.

But of course common sense prevails— How to have everyone playing mahjong at the same time right?

So someone suggested bringing this “Fish, Crab, Prawn” Gameboard. — Another form of betting lah. Someone else volunteered to bring the “Four Colour Cards” - that I can’t explain cos I don’t know how to play... And my mum said she’ll bring the dice and board required to play “Big and Small” - you know, the dice game.. Throw three dice and guess the number of points.

Yes, so it was decided within a day who’s to bring what. All using office email somemore.

And so, the MidAutumn Party shall be relabelled as MidAutumn-Come-Try-Your-Luck-Party…
