Drug Blogger

People ask me what I do at the PC for hours each day… Well, I surf the World Wide Web. I don’t think I’m considered a net addict, but I’d be very distressed if I don’t have internet access for more than 24 hours. (Minus the periods when I’m overseas, of course)

More recently, I have been reading a lot of blogs, and checking out different writing styles and blog layouts.

Along the way, I stumbled on a site maintained by a porn star. Yeah, a real life porn star who earns a living having sex in front of the camera.

The latest blog I’m hooked on now is by this Malaysian guy whose first entry was dated Apr 2002. So that kept me really occupied.

If you think the posts by certain local female bloggers are provocative, wait till you read this guy’s stories. He wrote about how he lost his virginity to a Kiwi girl while studying there, uploaded excessive pictures of food and cigarettes, as well as intriguing entries about his life.

His was the first blog I read, created by The First Drug Blogger in Malaysia.

It was an eye opener looking at the various types of drugs he tried, plus the traditional and unconventional methods of application and consumption.

I learnt:

- that drug abusers are not necessarily frail looking dudes who hang out in dark alleys and would do just about anything to get their fix, as depicted in the movies. This guy here (together with the so-called elites of society who were shamed in a bust earlier this year) has a degree and a decent job earning him RM3300 a month.

- how easy it was to gain access to drugs in certain parts of the world (outside Singapore)

- how slack certain Malaysian government agencies were. The Malaysian Customs win hands down in this category, with the department overseeing health issues, particularly ethics of medical practitioners coming in a close second.

By the way, he didn’t really touch on how drugs can kill. Hmmm.. There’s no way to enforce the accompaniment of gory images to drug packs the way gross pictures are plastered on cigarette boxes yeah?

I won’t post the link here, but I’m sure you can google your way to his site with the correct keywords.

Alternatively, I can provide the URL… Only if you attach a scanned copy of your NRIC in the email request. I won’t hesitate to click Delete if I see NRIC images of a 30 year man coming from the likes of jaychourox @abc.com or yanzi4eva @def.net.
Well, this is for documentation purposes. In the event that I am accused of advocating an unorthodox lifestyle, I can prove to the authorities that my blog readers are mature enough to use their blain, use their blain.

Post Scripts:

1. In case my blog is visited by drug abusers in Singapore who are laughing at my ignorance… I must truthfully say I have absolutely no idea how to obtain drugs in Singapore, and although I do not plan to do so, whether in the short or long run, can you guys email me, just to give me an idea? Thanks

2. In case I ruffled some feathers, let’s just say the impression about the Administration a Causeway away was imposed on me by your fellow citizen a Causeway away. I have no intention to offend anybody yeah?

3. Whether or not CNB officials read my blog, I have to say this: DRUG ABUSE IS A CRIME. Review of the abovementioned blog does not constitute my support for this undesirable lifestyle.
