Jinx

I think I’m a jinx.

A long long time ago, I used to be a supporter of this particular acne cream. After a while, I couldn’t find it anywhere anymore!

The same thing happened to this line of hair products from Japan. The wax I was using just disappeared from the shelves after a while! Without a single trace!

I think it’s either a case of me jinx-ing these companies, or I have this ability to pick up products by cannot-make-it-so-have-to-close-down companies.

Either way, it’s very frustrating.

And I cannot believe it when I was told that Prescriptives was pulling out of Singapore. What? I did it again? To a MNC?

Let’s discuss this very important point here. I think make up to a guy is comparatively much much more difficult. Come on, girls can slap on 101 colours on her face and still carry it off. And for guys… We don’t want colours. We just need a natural tone. Getting the exact correct shade of foundation is the most essential step in preventing yourself from being called an ah gua.

Just when I thought I got the exact correct shade, Px just had to thwart my plans. And as if pulling out of Singapore is not enough to infuriate me, they pulled out from Asia! Well done. When I could have travelled to Orchard Road to pick up the exact correct shade, the purchase procedure now includes a flight to either Australia, Europe or the States.

You say : But hey, it’s the 21st century! Try online!

Yeap. I tried that. I registered at their official site. And I even got a code to enjoy free shipping for my first purchase.

After countless clicks, I finally found the exact correct shade.
After more futile clicks and searching, I finally discovered online purchase is only restricted to the US. What the ?!

10 minutes later, I got an email.

(Post script: Hmm this content seems more likely to be found on a girl’s blog. I believe I’m the only guy with zero crossdressing fantasies in Singapore kao-beh-ing about Px’s hiatus. ^%#^;$.)
