Went to this cafe in Holland Village on a crowded Sat evening. Was so lucky to get this corner with 2 giant armchairs. While the rest of the gang perched on cold metal chairs and stools, I adopted this pose, not unlike him:

The seat and the cheesecake sort of made up for the lousy dinner we had earlier at ABC Market. – Don’t know if it’s the actual name or just a nick name. I was talking non stop on How Han’s car so I wasn’t noticing.

Because the meal at 830pm was my first for the day, I enthusiastically volunteered to order food to share. Upon returning, I was devastated to learn that there was another stall selling more delicious Fried Carrot Cake and Oyster Omelette. And the chicken wings and satay wasn’t from the finger-licking-good one.. Alamak! How I know wor….

The food was bad. Really really bad.

The Fried Carrot Cake and Oyster Omelette didn’t have the “Eat Me! I’m so tasty” look.

The Satay had the “no time to marinate” taste and the Sauce had a “I blend so well with water” texture.

Last, but certainly top of the list- The Chicken Wings!! “Or bi good lah, who ask you all don’t come yesterday…”

My specialty: “Instant noodles+ ketchup + sesame sauce + egg + whatever else you can find” will put these hawkers to shame… And no, I’m not giving them the recipe for this dish

Back to the coffee place… I was enjoying my daily dose of unhealthy food, this time in the form of a huge slice of Chicago Cheesecake and flipping the papers when I nearly jumped up!

It’s been so long since I’ve got so excited over a movie.

Sometimes, I attend media screenings before the actual premiere..

Sometimes, someone throws out an invitation to a gala premiere and I grab it if I’m free to go.

Sometimes, when I’m out with my friends and if we have nothing specific in mind (and/or if it’s too early for mahjong), we catch whatever is available.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith we are talking about right here!

Media Screenings —> Every journo, every DJ, every tom, dick, harry is bound to go…

Gala Premiere —> I’m working!!! Damn. (Damn the date, not damn my work…) Who chose a Thursday?! Who?!

Catch whatever is available —> Not taking any chances here.. The way I see it, tickets will be snapped up really fast.. Yeah if you’re lucky, you could perhaps get a Front Row Seat at a 3, 4am screening….
