Wonder if it’s Monday blues, or post holidays blues. It was so hard to get out of bed yesterday. Wasn’t too enthusiastic to do anything at all..
Frankly it was quite a struggle doing the Global Chart show at 7pm, followed by XGJY at 9pm. Apart from the dedns, I had to give away tickets and talk about the Yellow Ribbon Project.
Evidence that I was still stuck in a holiday mood: Listeners who wanted to attend Ben C’s event had to answer a question. After taking four calls, I realised I had only recorded their particulars, and didn’t ask them for the answer! *bish*
While walking home after buying supper, Jan proposed mahjong– Yup she’s starting work next week, so she has one more week to rest and relax. Assuming it’ll be virtually impossible activating people at nearly 12am, I said, “OK! I’ll be very impressed if you can get things going…”
I was more than impressed.. I was shocked! Speechless! Don and Angela were picking me up in 20mins! So much for my plans to quit mahjong. 
While picking up drinks and snacks at the convenience store, we realised the 3 of us were wearing black tops, and similar bottoms. I jokingly predicted that it’s either gonna be a 3-win-1 or 1-win-3 situation. Btw, that turned out to be true! with jan as the sole winner.. 
*slapping myself hard*
Over the 3 rounds, I shared my “current fantasy”. What would it be like to be filthy rich/ or be the son of someone filthy rich. It extended to “why wasn’t I someone rich and famous…”
“.. if only i was jin cheng wu.. we can raise the stakes, since i’m rich!..and i don’t have to make my own milo dinosaur and pack the tiles after the game cos I probably have a PA to do it for me..”
“.. if only i was jay chou.. if i lose, i can sing to pay my debts..”
