Red Eye
It’s 4:50am. Less than 3 hours before set off, and I’ve yet to dig out my passport and ringgit. My camera and iPod mini is taking ages to charge. I’m still wide awake with zero signs of sleepiness.
Note to the people who wonder why I stay up so “early”: I have not been surfing porn! Stop harassing me for the URLs! 
Had a mini scare last evening. My right eye turned red 5 minutes after I put on my contact lenses. I thought it was a minor irritation while having dinner. Had a rude shock when I saw one blood shot eye in the mirror. My eye redness level usually peaks at 10-20% (of the visible surface area of the eyeball), so you can imagine my panic when I saw the WHOLE thing red. Frantically removed the lens and flooded my right eye with eye drops.
I literally trampled around the house with one lens in my left eye, trying to get ready for work. Feverishly prayed the itch would go away, and that I don’t plunge down the stairs.
Contacts wearers: Try that someday. Insert one lens and off you go. Un-satifaction guaranteed.
Just as I mulled over how I was gonna read dedications with ONE eye.. I whipped out a mirror, and bravo! It’s back to normal!
*Whew*
The spare lens popped in and I was ready to go, “Hi, This is Cruz on XGJY.”
